Personal information we collect

We collect personal information from you and any devices (including mobile devices) you use when you: use our Services, register for an account with us, provide us information on a web form, update or add information to your account or when you otherwise correspond with us. 

Some of this personal information, such as a way to identify you, is necessary to enter into our User Agreement. The provision of all other personal information is voluntary, but may be necessary in order to use our Services.

  • Other content that you generate, or that is connected to your account (such as adding items to your basket).

How we use your personal information

We use your personal information to fulfill a contract with you and provide you with our Services, to comply with our legal obligation, protect your vital interest, or as may be required for the public good. This includes:

Ways you can access, control and correct your personal information

You can see, review and change most of your personal information by signing in to your account. Please, update your personal information immediately if it changes or is inaccurate.

If you request that we stop processing some or all of your personal information or you withdraw (where applicable) your consent for our use or disclosure of your personal information for purposes set out in this privacy notice, we might not be able to provide you all of the Services and customer support offered to our users and authorised under this privacy notice and our User Agreement.

Upon your request, we will close your account and remove your personal information from view as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable national laws.

How we might share your personal information

We may disclose your personal information to the following parties for the following purposes:

  • Help detect, investigate, mitigate and prevent potentially fraudulent and illegal acts, violations of our User Agreement and data security breaches
  • Provide you personalised advertising
  • Improve their products, sites, applications, services, tools and marketing communications.
  • Third party service providers who help us to provide our Services, payment processing services, assist us in providing customised advertising, to assist us with the prevention, detection, mitigation, and investigation of potentially illegal acts.
  • Third party financial institutions with whom we partner to offer financial products to you, for them to provide joint content and services (such as, registration, transactions and customer support). These third party financial institution partners will use your personal information to send you marketing communications only if you have requested their services
  • Third party postage providers (e.g., DPD,GLS, UPS etc.) with whom we share delivery address, contact information and shipment tracking information for the purposes of facilitating the delivery of items purchased and other delivery related communications.
  • To comply with our legal requirements, enforce our User Agreement, respond to claims that a listing or other content violates the rights of others, or protect anyone's rights, property or safety.
  • To prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate potentially illegal acts, fraud and/or security breaches, and to assess and manage risk, including to alert you if fraudulent activities have been detected on your account or PayPal accounts.
  • To provide customer services, including to help service your account or resolve disputes

How long we keep your personal information

Our specific retention times for personal information are documented in our regional records retention schedules. How long we retain personal information can vary significantly based on context of the Services we provide and on our legal obligations.

How orders are handled

Thee insertion of personal data is made by means of a coded SSL connection of 128 bits. All the personal info is kept confidential by CAMELEON TEXTIL/KAMELEON TEXTIL as well as by ePayment. Please take special care to indicate the correct billing and delivery data while filling in the forms. As all order related info is being carried by e-mail, it is of utmost importance to indicate a correct e-mail address.  A wrongly pointed e-mail address may considerably slow down the entire ordering process. In addition CAMELEON TEXTIL/KAMELEON TEXTIL and ePayment would not be able to inform you upon your order status.

If the billing address is not the same as the delivery address, please make sure to indicate this by selecting the menu at the end of the form. Select a payment method and cofirm the inserted data by pressing on “Next step”

Note that we might use your personal data in remarketing purposes:

If you choose to receive our newsletters by checking the “yes” box within the “Subscribe to newsletter” option, we might use your e-mail address in order to send periodical newsletters. You may unsubscribe at any time, by choosing the unsubscribe option in within the newsletter.

Debit / Credit Card data

If you have chosen to pay with a debit/credit card, you would be asked to fill in a form with your card information. For the card payments under Visa and MasterCard (Visa/VisaElectron and Mastercard/Maestro) a “3-D Secure” system is being used. “3-D Secure” system is elaborated to grant the online transactions with the same security level as the automate teller machine or actual physical transactions. “3-D Secure” system guarantees that any information related to your card is directly inserted in Visa and MasterCard systems and is never transferred or stocked on our servers or ePayment servers. In addition, “3-D Secure” is an identity authentication system for the card owners in online medium. The “3-D Secure” systems allows you to buy online by means of any kind of card issued by Visa or MasterCard, including debit cards and electronic cards Maestro and Visa Electron. Virtual cards issued by these organizations are also accepted.

If the card transaction has been successfully completed, the next display would thank you for your order along with providing you with relevant info related to it. You will also receive an e-mail message containing your order data.

Payment Methods

You may choose among the following payment methods: credit/debit card, bank transfer/money order. If you have selected credit/debit card as your payment method, you would have to fill in a form with your card’s data. When the transaction is successfully completed, the next display thanks you for the order along with showing you relevant information related to your order. You will also receive this information by e-mail.

We accept the following credit/debit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard/Eurocard, Maestro, as well as virtual Visa or MasterCard cards. If you choose to use as payment method your credit/debit card, your order would be processed immediately. When you select as a payment method bank transfer, the order is processed only after the confirmation of the creditation of ePayment account, which may delay the delivery by 2-4 days.

Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge

Following an order, the Trusted Shops Trustbadge is incorporated into this web page in order to display our Trusted Shops trustmark for buyers and the eventually collected reviews, as well as the Trusted Shops product offer.

In balancing the various interests, this serves to safeguard our legitimate prevailing interests in an optimised marketing of our offer. The Trustbadge and the services advertised are an offer of Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Köln.

Whenever a Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file which contains, for example, your IP address, the date and time of retrieval, the data volume transferred and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the retrieval. This access data will not be evaluated and will be automatically overwritten seven days after your visit to the page.

Other personal information will only be transferred to Trusted Shops if you decide, after completing an order, to use Trusted Shops products or have already registered for their use. In this case, the contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies.
