Connection to the synthetic jersey category
Coolpass can be classified among synthetic jersey fabrics, as thanks to its knitted structure it provides elastic, easily shaped and comfortable wear. While classic synthetic jersey is often made from a blend of polyester, cotton and spandex, Coolpass is purely polyester-based and primarily optimised for technical performance.
This difference mainly shows up in functionality: Coolpass is not built around a balance of natural feel and elasticity, but around efficient moisture transport and quick drying. For cotton-based elasticity with a natural feel, it is worth looking at stretch cotton jersey.

One of the most important features of Coolpass is the cross-sectional design of the fibre. Unlike traditional polyester fibres, here a cross-shaped (+) structure is found, which provides an increased surface area.
