DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Single Terry Towel

Belonging to the single-sided terry base materials, Single Terry Towel is a looped-surface textile made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester, standing out for its excellent moisture absorption and soft feel. The 210 g/m² weight and 175 cm width make it an ideal choice for both apparel and home textile use.

Single Terry Towel is a special knitted fabric with a characteristic looped structure on one side. These loops significantly increase the material's moisture-absorbing capacity, making it particularly suitable for applications where liquid absorption and comfort play a key role. The blend of cotton and polyester provides a balance of natural feel and durability.

Material composition and structural properties

The 80% cotton content guarantees a soft, skin-friendly feel and good breathability, while the 20% polyester contributes to the material's shape retention and longer lifespan. The looped surface is not only functional but also aesthetically defining, as it gives the material a distinctive texture.

The 210 gsm weight already represents a medium-thick category, which provides adequate body and durability while retaining a comfortable wearing feel. The 175 cm width allows for economical cutting, especially for larger-surface products such as sheets or blankets. If you need a thicker base material with greater moisture-absorbing capacity, double-face terry is the next step.

Applications

Single Terry Towel is a widely applicable textile. In apparel use, it is suitable for making robes, sauna accessories, and sports and leisure wear. Due to its soft feel, it is also an excellent choice for baby and children's apparel products.

In baby care, it appears as a base material for baby blankets, burp cloths and bibs, where moisture absorption and skin-friendly properties are especially important. As a home textile, it can be used for making elasticated sheets, cushion covers and towels, while for beauty care purposes it also holds its own as a base material for washable cosmetic cloths, facial cleansing pads and hair bands. For waterproof mattress protectors and changing mats, the same surface is also available in a TPU-laminated version.
