Sherpa
Sherpa, belonging to the sherpa base materials, is a very soft, double-sided fabric made from 100% micropolyester. Its characteristic fluffy surface provides a warm and pleasant feel, while its printed reverse side has a rustic, mélange-effect appearance, giving the fabric a distinctive, double-sided construction. The 245 g/m² weight and 160 cm width allow for versatile use in apparel, accessories and home textiles alike.
Fabric structure and properties
Sherpa is a dense, soft and fluffy fabric that provides a pleasant sense of comfort and adequate thermal insulation without making the finished product excessively heavy. The 245 g/m² weight gives a substantial yet easy-to-handle fabric feel, while the 160 cm width supports efficient use of the base material during cutting and sewing.
One of the most important distinguishing features of Sherpa is its double-sided construction.
