Sherpa, belonging to the sherpa base materials, is a 100% micropolyester, lightweight yet warm textile with a lambswool-effect, soft surface, weighing 230 g/m². It has good thermal insulation, is quick-drying and easy to care for. Ideal for making coats, waistcoats, baby products and home textiles where comfort, softness and warmth are important. It is the lighter member of the sherpa fleece group.

Thanks to the fine fibre structure, it has a silky feel while providing adequate warmth, making it an ideal choice for both apparel and home textile use.

The characteristic fluffy surface of Sherpa results in a dense yet lightweight structure. The 230 g/m² weight allows the material not to make finished garments heavy, while effectively insulating against the cold. The 155 cm width can be well utilised when cutting. The micropolyester base material increases the material's durability, softness and quick drying, making it practical for everyday use.
Applications
Belonging to the sherpa group, Sherpa can be widely used for making various products. For outerwear, it is ideal for “teddy” waistcoats, light cardigans, hoodie linings and transitional coats, where the balance of warmth and comfort is important.
