Coolpass mesh is an elastic, 95% polyester and 5% spandex functional textile with a mesh structure based on special synthetic jersey. The combination of the classic Coolpass technology and the mesh design allows for efficient moisture transport, increased breathability, and comfortable, elastic wear even during intense physical exertion.
Connection to the synthetic jersey category
Coolpass mesh belongs to the synthetic jersey fabrics, but compared to traditional variants it has a mesh structure. While classic synthetic jersey has a smooth surface and often also contains a cotton blend, Coolpass mesh is built purely on synthetic bases and is optimised for functionality and breathability.
The spandex content provides elasticity and adaptation to the body, while the polyester base material is responsible for durability and quick drying.
Special fibre and structural design
One of the defining features of Coolpass mesh is the combination of Coolpass fibre technology and the mesh structure. The cross-shaped (+) design of the fibres provides an increased surface area, which promotes rapid moisture transport.
The mesh structure is a further advantage, as the more open construction increases air flow, thereby contributing to reducing the sensation of heat and increasing comfort.
Moisture management and comfort
Coolpass technology, which works on the capillary principle, immediately transports sweat away from the skin's surface with the help of microchannels formed along the fibres. The moisture moves to the outer layer of the textile, where it spreads over a larger surface, allowing for rapid evaporation.
Combined with the spandex content, the material not only manages moisture efficiently but also elastically follows the body's movement, thus providing comfortable wear during sports and active use.
